Pikowai Camping Ground
This beachfront camping ground between Whakatane and Tauranga is a wonderful spot to enjoy swimming and beach fishing. The campground is right on the beach and sheltered from southerly winds by pohutukawa-clad white cliffs. There are two toilet blocks complete with coin operated showers. Please be sure to conserve water where ever possible. No dogs allowed.
No bookings taken - first come, first served and caretakers are onsite.
Tariff is $15/site (up to 2 adults and 2 children under 15yrs) and $5/night each extra adult, $1/night each extra child. Maximum stay 14 consecutive days.
