• Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for farming and commercial clients operating as sole traders, partnerships, companies, trusts and estates using MYOB software.
• Preparation of GST returns for clients, using mostly BankLink software.
• Preparation of FBT returns, PAYE returns and other returns required from time to time by the IRD.
• Preparation of ACC Coverplus Extra Applications for clients.
• Assistance with preparation of cashflow forecasts, letters and business plans.
• Preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting commentary.
• Preparation of interim financial statements for profit projection and tax calculation purposes.
• Calculation of tax estimates and projections.
• Livestock valuations.
• Updating clients computerised cashbooks.
• Handling of client queries both on the phone and in person.
• Helping other team members when appropriate.
• Being part of a team.
