Whakatane trainer Shamrock Gay, a former national boxing champion, will be training the novice boxers.
Ten fights will feature on the card at the Whakatane War Memorial Centre on September 11, 2010.
Proceeds will go to replacing the trust’s car and truck. The trust runs a mobile classroom that visits primary and intermediate schools teaching children about how their bodies work, healthy eating and respect so that they can make the right decisions and avoid problems with alcohol and drugs.
