The Rawhiti Mountain Bike Park has a maze of trails including a kids area (lollipop track) and more advenced tracks.The park is on private property so you need a permit to get in. You can get one from the information centre call 0800 94252826.

The community’s arts and culture hub, Te Kōputu a Te Whanga a Toi, opened in June 2012. The centre hosts the Horizon Energy Library, and Whakatāne District Museum display and three gallery spaces.
