This community facility is ideal for a variety of functions and events. The Reception Lounge caters for up to 300 people and includes full kitchen facilities and two bar areas. The Whakatane Little Theatre has tiered seating for 271 people, a large stage with some sound and lighting equipment and a rehearsal room. The Sports Stadium can hold up to 1000 people. Seating is available, along with a temporary stage and some tables.

Includes an auditorium facility and seating for 550 people. A smaller room seats 30 and includes kitchen facilities.  5 minutes walk from the CBD.

The Awakeri Events Centre has a full range of facilities for hire including lounge, kitchen, bar and gymnasium.

The lounge is fully furnished and will seat 168 people. It has a large deck area and outlook onto Awakeri Park. It's ideal for functions or meetings and a full range of AV equipment is available. The kitchen is a fully commercial facility with an in-house caterer. Menus can be designed to suit your function and quotes are available on request. The bar is fully licensed and stocked and staff can be provided at no extra cost. The gymnasium has a capacity of 680. It has top quality acoustics with staging available if required. Off road car parking with access for 100 vehicles is available.

The Ohope Hall is a stadium that holds up to 550 people and is ideal for concerts and sports events. Seating is available, but tables are not provided.

The Edgecumbe Hall includes a reception lounge with room for 250 standing or 120 seated. Kitchen facilities, seats and tables are provided. The sports stadium can hold up to 500 people and a portable stage is available.
