Film Volcanic is a central North Island Regional film office initiative with stakeholders from the Bay of Plenty and Waikato councils. The purpose is to promote the region as a place for world-class screen production activity. Film Volcanic aims to market the diverse locations, assist the region to achieve accredited film friendly status, form partnerships with Film NZ and the other regional film offices and provide a facilitation service to support the screen production industry while in the Central North Island region. The Eastern Bay of Plenty Development Board is committed to supporting Film Volcanic over the next three years.
