Visit the friendly team at the Whakatane Information Centre. Let us make all your bookings for accommodation and activities during your stay – at no extra cost. We supply information and brochures on what to see and do during your visit and are booking agents for Intercity Coachlines, Tranz Rail and Ferries. We have a wide range of maps available from local walking tracks to road maps. Open 7 days summer and winter. 

WHAKATANE DISTRICT COUNCIL

The Whakatane District Council is located in the centre of town on Commerce St. Visit the friendly customer service team for the full range of Council information. Open Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.

OHOPE VISITOR INFORMATION OFFICE

Visit the Ohope Portside Store for a full range of brochures and information for Ohope and surrounds.

MURUPARA VISITOR CENTRE AND RANGITAIKI DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION OFFICE

For information about Murupara, Te Urewera National Park and Whirinaki Forest. They stock a full range of information about the walks and tramps in this area, safety information and permits for DOC huts.
