We supply information and brochures on what to see and do during your visit and are booking agents for Intercity Coachlines, Tranz Rail and Ferries. We have a wide range of maps available from local walking tracks to road maps. Opening hours: December-February Mon-Fri 8am-6pm, Sat/Sun 9am-5pm.  March - November Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, Sat/Sun 10am-4pm.  All Public Holidays 10am-4pm 

The Whakatane District Council is located in the centre of town on Commerce St. Visit the friendly customer service team for the full range of Council information. Open Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.

For information about Murupara, Te Urewera National Park and Whirinaki Forest. They stock a full range of information about the walks and tramps in this area, safety information and permits for DOC huts.
