Whakatane leads the sunshine race in 2010
According to June results from NIWA, Whakatane has a commanding lead in the sunshine race, ahead of recent sunshine champions Nelson, Blenheim and Tekapo.
Kataia had the most sunshine in January and June while Whakatane triumphed in March, April and May. Tekapo topped the total sunshine hours in February. Surprisingly Tauranga is lying second at the half way stage.
