Mānawatia a Matariki!

Celebrate Matariki with Te Puna Ora o Mataatua at our Matariki Celebration Thursday, July 13th from 4.45am at the Whakatāne Surf Lifesaving Club in Ōhope.

Learn about Matariki, and celebrate the New Year. Traditional karakia and hautapu (food offering to the stars), with free kai, coffee and bonfires.
