Ride the Runway 2025

Ride the runway, enjoy a free BBQ sausage and take a tour of Whakatāne Flying School.

Based on the success of this event over the last two years, we are again offering the options of RIDE THE FULL RUNWAY or RIDE SCOOT or WALK HALF THE RUNWAY for our younger community members or those with mobility issues.

This year, Rere Espresso Cafe at the Airport will be open for business and serving beautiful coffee and drinks and we will have an Ice Cream truck on site so bring your wallet!

There is a charge of $10 per person for the event as a donation to Bike Whakatane Trust, but limited tickets so get in quick! Contact Maureen at cwa.easternbop@gmail.com to book your places.
