Experience Moutouhorā

Moutohorā/Whale Island is a Wildlife Management Reserve for endangered birds and plants. Public access to Moutohorā is restricted to permit holders and approved tour parties led by concessionaires. You need a permit to land on the island and these can only be obtained via the Department of Conservation.
