Movie Villains - Whakamax

Jinan Dodd is an artist and musician from Whakatāne, New Zealand. He enjoys painting in a cubist style and takes influence from the likes of George Condo and Pablo Picasso. His graphic piece incorporating iconic movie characters is on the massive back wall of Whakamax Cinema. 

“First big scale mural for me, lucky to do it in my home town. I was asked to paint some movie characters, found some cool ones and added my favourite colours.” - Jinan Dodd
