Voices Community Choir

Happens monthly on the first Monday of the month
Next Event: -

Voices is a social, casual, community singing group for adults and teens focused on fun, friendship, inclusion and self expression through song. We meet up on the first Monday of the month and sing together ‘for-the-love-of-singing’.

In 2024 we are excited to trial running Voices in the back function area/garden bar at The Comm.
Management have extended Happy Hour on the first Monday of each Month especially for our Voices attendees, and there is a lovely menu of kai on offer including burgers, salads and steaks as well as share plates from $10. Why not book a table and come down early for dinner and a drink before Voices kicks off at 7pm?!

Each Voices session will see attendees working on a new song so newcomers are welcome at any Voices session. There are no performances or audiences to worry about - all you have to do is turn up, relax and enjoy creating wonderful music in the company of like-minded people! Voices choir is made up of a marvelous melting pot of people. Whatever your gender, ethnicity, age, voice type or confidence level - whether you are a seasoned performer or brand new to singing -  everyone has a place in the Voices choir!

Voices sessions start off with breathing and vocal warm ups, followed by learning a song together, with some basic harmony singing thrown in for good measure.

FEE/PAYMENT INFO

VOICES is a 'pay-as-you-go choir' and as such, no invoices are issued. Each 1.5 hour session costs $10. Please bring cash along with you each time you attend a session and pop this in the bucket on your way into the garden bar.

Attendees are welcome to come along regularly, or just once in a blue moon!
