Fast, 10.5-metre day boat for fishing and diving. For newcomers to seasoned pros. Hourly, half-day and full-day rates. Casual or block bookings for up to 15 (conditions apply). Family friendly, toilet and BBQ. Quality dive/snorkel and fishing equipment available, including bait and filleting. 

We also operate Diveworks Dolphin and Seal Encounters. 3-4 hours swimming with dolphins and friendly seals in clear, blue waters. Sightings of gannets, penguins, albatross, whales and fish. Fast, safe, family friendly boat. Snorkel equipment available. DOC and Qualmark Certified visitor activity.

Te Papaka pa is rich in Ngāti Awa history. From the summit, a magnificent panorama landward and seaward avails. Nowadays the site is no longer inhabited but is open to sightseers.  

Te Toka o Irakewa is one of three landmarks that Toroa was told to look for by his father Irakewa when the Mataatua canoe journeyed to Kakahoroa. 

The Mataatua waka first landed at Te Toka Tapu, which is sited opposite Turuturu Roimata (Statue Rock) at the Whakatāne river mouth. 

This sculpture, commissioned by the Molly Morpeth Canaday Trust and crafted by Jonathon Campbell in 2007, honors the renowned New Zealand author Margaret Mahy.
