Mike Boswell (Bozy) is the new owner/operator of The Gambler Fishing Charters out of the Bay of Plenty port of Whakatāne, specializing in day fishing charters out to White Island and beyond targeting the legendary White Island Kingfish, Bluenose, Hapuka, and Bass.

Mike has over 20 years experience charter fishing out of Whakatāne and also Ranfurly banks 3 Kings Islands, South Island Bluefin, and Vavau Tonga bringing a wealth of knowledge, enthusiasm and experience to the operation.

Mike holds a New Zealand Offshore Masters ticket so you can be sure you are in good hands out on the water.

The Gambler is a fast stable platform to fish off game rigged with bait tank, tuna tubes and outriggers, decked out with quality shimano gear.

The brainchild of Colin Hughes, these picturesque tiles were designed and created by a team of 12 artisans from the Whakatane Society of Arts and Crafts.
