The Hidden Gems of Taurahere Tangata

The Hidden Gems of Taurahere Tangata

Hidden within this complex mural by American street artist Brian Gonnella, Taurahere Tangata, are many stories, references, and important Tīpuna of the Kopeopeo area.

The name of the mural, 'Taurahere Tangata' was gifted by a local taitamāhine (young woman), and means 'the binding of all people'; something that the mural's creation journey has exemplified.
