Black Ferns Homecoming: Whakatāne

Our world champion local heroes are home! 🏆 Join Black Ferns, Ruahei Demant, Stacey Fluher and Luka Connor as we welcome them home to the Eastern Bay of Plenty.

📍 Whakatāne Riverfront & Mataatua Reserve

There will be a parade by boat starting at the wharf outside the i-SITE. Heading down the river towards the boat ramp. Stacey, Ruahei and Luka will then be available for autographs and photos. Bring a picnic late lunch, a sausage sizzle will also be available.

IMPORTANT:
- Be kind! We want everyone to have the opportunity to meet their heroes so please be aware and considerate of others. 😻
- Be considerate when parking too - please don't park on private property or block people's driveways 🅿
- Get in early to get a great spot along the riverfront for the parade 😎
- Bring some sun protection and water, remember it is summer ☀
