Arts Whakatāne AGM

Arts Whakatāne is inviting the arts community to their AGM on 25 June at Acacia House, at 5:30pm. Arts Whakatāne supports Eastern Bay community arts in all its forms and wants to bring supporters and practitioners together to share a vision for the flourishing of community arts into the future. Speakers will be James McCarthy who is an experienced manager of community arts and Alexandra Pickles, General Manager Community Experience at the WDC. James will share his knowledge and ideas about improving access and opportunities for local arts practitioners. Alexandra will update attendees on the latest developments of the long-term Arts, Culture and Creativity plan.

Arts Whakatāne is hoping to attract new committee members, event volunteers and sponsors.
