Dates - 6th - 8th February 2026 (Waitangi Weekend)

Briefing in the Whakatane Sportfishing Club on Thursday 5th February 2026 starting at 7pm (all skippers must attend)

Fishing Starts 5.30 am on Friday 6th February 2026

All vessels must depart from the Whakatane Port - Fishing area is the Whakatane Sportfishing Club Sponsors Grid Map

All boats must return each day to Whakatane Port and all fish weighed by 6pm Daily.  

Daily round up, heaviest section prizes and lucky angler draws nightly in the Whakatane Sportfishing Club 7pm (angler must be present for lucky angler draws)
