Hon Matt Doocey is Associate Health Minister with responsibility for Rural Health and Minister for Mental Health. Mr Doocey is visiting rural communities to hear about local health care and how the Government can better support communities and people working in rural health. The roadshow started in Levin on 16 April, went on to Wairoa, Wānaka, Oamaru, Hanmer Springs, Gore, Tūrangi, Kaitaia, Hāwera, Te Kūiti, Greymouth and Thames, and is now coming to Whakatāne.
